Why you've never heard of it: When people reach for Italian wines they tend to reach for Chianti or Barolo. Plus, this wine has no branding whatsoever. No cartoon label, snazzy website, fancy tasting room, or social media presence. Renzo wants the bottle to speak for itself and frankly I ASPIRE!
Why it rocks: Dolcetto is an overlooked darling that deserves our love! And this one is grown on possibly the best site in the world. A warming climate is making high-elevation regions like this one PERFECT for beautiful light red wines and this is one of my ABOSULTE favorites. Perfect with pizza, pasta, or Just Cheese and ready to drink RIGHT DANG NOW.
