I remember the exact moment I was introduced to these wines! I was working at a shop in Denver and was yapping about French red blends to a friend when he quietly muttered, “You’ve got to check out these wines.” as if it was some national secret. And thank GOD! I’ve been buying and loving them for years now! And now you can too!
They’re not sold anywhere in Louisiana because CORPORATIONS SUCK but I got you, baby. This particular bottle called RHINESTONES downright BLEW MY MIND the first time I tried it and has been blowing my mind every vintage since. You simply do not find this quality for this price in America. In an area that is increasingly being bought and concered by the royalty of Burgundy, this wine is a quiet revolution. Inspired by the working-class wines of the Loire Valley. Rhinestones does not take itself too seriously. Neither should you.
